Building Musical & Visual Compositions

Being both a musical and visual artist, I perceive the two mediums as being very similar. This video is an exploration showing how I understand musical and visual compositions. Both mediums are compared using terms like weight, texture, and balance.
First, I recorded a series of independent musical samples. Then I created a corresponding visual animation to each musical sample. Finally I layered them together to watch how each instrument interacted with the others (both visually and musically).
